Total Time: 45 minutes
Servings: 12 bites

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of smooth peanut butter unsweetened
  • 1 cup quick-cooking oats dry and uncooked
  • 1/3 cup pure honey or real maple syrup depending on preference

Optional Garnishes (if desired):

  • Finely shredded coconut flakes
  • Melted chocolate for drizzling
  • Miniature chocolate chips
  • Crushed nuts of choice
  • Flaky sea salt for a touch of contrast

Instructions

  • In a medium-sized bowl, combine the peanut butter and chosen liquid sweetener. Stir until the mixture is uniform and glossy.
  • Incorporate the oats into the bowl, mixing thoroughly until a dense, moldable dough forms.
  • Portion out the dough using a small scoop or spoon, rolling each piece between your palms to shape into approximately 1-inch spheres.
  • Arrange the rolled bites on a baking sheet or plate lined with parchment paper. Transfer to the refrigerator and chill for at least 30 minutes to allow the bites to firm up.
  • Once set, store the bites in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to one week, or freeze for extended freshness.

Notes

Customize each bite by rolling or topping them with your favorite additions such as shredded coconut, crushed nuts, or a drizzle of melted chocolate before chilling.
