Ingredients

  • 225 grams 8 oz of softened cream cheese
  • 1 stick 113 grams unsalted butter, brought to room temperature
  • 270 grams 1½ cups semi-sweet chocolate morsels, melted and cooled slightly
  • 250 grams 1 cup smooth peanut butter
  • 120 grams 1 cup confectioners’ sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract
  • A small pinch of fine salt
  • Miniature chocolate chips to garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • In a spacious mixing bowl, use an electric mixer to blend the room-temperature cream cheese with the softened butter until the mixture becomes smooth and creamy in texture.
  • Incorporate the confectioners’ sugar, creamy peanut butter, vanilla essence, and a pinch of salt into the bowl. Continue beating the mixture until light, fluffy, and well blended.
  • In a separate microwave-safe bowl, melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips in short intervals of 20 to 30 seconds, stirring after each interval until the chocolate is fully smooth. Allow it to cool slightly before proceeding.
  • Add the melted chocolate to the peanut butter mixture and beat until the chocolate is thoroughly distributed and the mixture has a uniform consistency.
  • Spoon the finished dip into a serving dish, cover it securely, and refrigerate for a minimum of 30 minutes to allow it to firm up slightly.
  • Before serving, garnish with mini chocolate chips if using. Offer with an assortment of dippers such as pretzel twists, graham crackers, vanilla wafers, or sliced apples.
