Ingredients

White Sauce

  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon garlic minced
  • ½ cup red onion finely minced

Nachos

  • 1 bag tortilla chips
  • 2 cups pulled pork divided
  • 1 pound cheddar cheese shredded, divided
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 medium jalapeño chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • White Sauce: In a small mixing bowl, blend the mayonnaise, sour cream, minced red onion, and garlic until well combined. Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.
  • Nachos: Begin by spreading a thin layer of tortilla chips in an oven-safe skillet or on a baking sheet. Scatter ¼ of the shredded cheese and ¼ of the pulled pork evenly over the chips. Repeat this layering process three additional times, ensuring the ingredients are distributed evenly.
  • Bake the nachos for approximately 15 minutes, or until the cheese has fully melted and is bubbling.
  • Once baked, drizzle the nachos generously with barbecue sauce and the prepared white sauce.
  • Garnish with chopped jalapeños for a spicy kick. Serve immediately while hot and enjoy!

Notes

For added variety, try using a mix of cheeses or swapping jalapeños for other fresh toppings like green onions or diced tomatoes.
